Hanna Bashniak

Hanna Bashniak, the Sector Head of Regulatory Policy Sector in Better Regulation Delivery Office, Ukraine - one of the largest and most impactful policy think tanks in Ukraine. The organization focuses on better regulation, economic growth, SME development and now on addressing problems caused by the war. It has been instrumental in developing and advocating almost 200 of initiatives adopted by the Government and Parliament of Ukraine. These initiatives brought about savings for businesses and state expenditure of more than $1 billion every year through better, streamlined, and digitized policies, regulations, and procedures. Hanna has more than eight years of experience in drafting legislation in the spheres of economy, ecology, subsoil use, digital transformation; preparation analytical reports with regulatory recommendations, in particular, on investment barriers in subsoil use sector (with emphasis on critical raw materials use), licensing procedures; reengineering and development of state electronic public services for business.
